Our Area Director's teach young athletes (ages 3-14) the rules, techniques, and strategies of Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, Track & Field, Volleyball and more!
Job Description:
Directors will focus on developing Skills, Passion, and Confidence.
Not winning and losing.
Directors will provide a safe environment where kids of any ability can develop at their own pace.
Directors use our modified equipment and specialized curriculum to teach young athletes skill development through play.
Directors manage interactive team games that encourage friendly competition and teach sportsmanship and teamwork in a positive environment.
Directors create a structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a HS Diploma, GED and/or College Degree (BS or BA).
Must be able to pass a national background check, TB Test, and receive First Aid/CPR Certification.
Must have regular access to a computer.
Must have driver's license and reliable transportation (own car).
Most importantly, applicants must be able to relate well to kids (ages 3-14), share their knowledge and passion for sports, and bring a high-energy can do attitude to camp EVERYDAY! Must be able to work well independently and with others.
Must have leadership qualities.
Must be flexible.
Must have prior experience with coaching youth sports.
COACHING SCHEDULE:
Mondays:
9am-6pm Tuesdays:
9am-6pm Wednesdays:
9am-6pm Thursdays:
9am-6pm Saturdays:
9am-2pm PROGRAM PAY:
This is a hourly paid coaching position.
Hourly rate depends on experience and education level ($20-$30/hour).
LOCATIONS:
Programs run throughout Antioch, Benecia, Brentwood, Concord, Danville, Lafayette, Martinez, Moraga, Oakley, Orinda, Piedmont, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek Job Types:
